Safety and proper handling are very important!

Formerly Toxic/Insurgent airsoft, Freedom Airsoft is the largest airsoft field in the state of Arizona. We have two 4 acre fields with many different objects and obstacles for cover. Cover includes helicopter and aircraft wrecks, bunkers, buildings, boats, cars, and other obstacles.

Our goal is to create and maintain the best airsoft experience the state has to offer. Above all, we value fun and promote safety as an utmost importance. In addition we promote respect and communication among the players as they need to work in teams to accomplish given objectives. We are a family friendly environment and promote family teams. We also host birthday parties during open and private sessions and offer gun rental packages for new players and parties.

Our games and scenarios incorporate the use of modern battle tactics and scenarios used in real life, giving that realistic feel compared to playing a video game like Call of Duty. Examples of games we play include capture the flag, bunker defense, hostage rescue, black hawk down, free for all, and team deathmatch.

Who we are.

Airsoft is a competitive game, similar to paintball, in which players face off against other players using military and law enforcement tactics through the use of replica firearms. Airsoft guns shoot 6mm plastic bb's and generally hurt less than paintball. There are many different types of airsoft guns used such as electric powered select fire guns or "aeg's", co2 powered or propane powered pistols, hpa powered guns, and spring powered guns. Airsoft is generally cheaper than paintball due to the ammo cost alone. The airsoft guns are also heavily customizable with a wide array of attachments and sights. Most real scopes and attachments are usable on airsoft guns due to the 1 to 1 scale replica of most airsoft guns.

Many players use airsoft for training or as a workout as the game may be physically demanding. Some players will show up in full military loadouts while others may show up in regular street clothes. While some major airsoft games require a uniform, Freedom Airsoft does not require one unless its a major event. However we do highly recommend closed-toed shoes, jeans, and a full sleeve shirt as the bb's do sting when you are hit.

Whether you are playing airsoft at our field or playing in your backyard, always wear eye and face protection. You can damage your eyes or teeth if you are not wearing the proper protection. It is mandatory to have eye protection at our field. Full face protection is mandatory for players under 18.

When you carry your airsoft gun, be sure you have the finger completely off the trigger until you are ready to fire. Don't point your gun at anyone not wearing eye protection. It is also preferable to carry around your airsoft guns in a sealed bag or case. Arizona may be an open carry state but please use common sense and if you need to transport your guns in the open use a case! All airsoft guns are sold from stores with an orange tip. You may remove the orange tip at our field if you wish but we recommend keeping it on everywhere else you go to help identify it as a replica.
